EXPERIENCE
My style & approach
Whether you’ve worked with a photographer before or this is your first time, it’s important to understand what to expect so we can be sure we’re the right fit. My goal is to give you confidence that your experience with me will exceed your expectations.
These days, I photograph up to 35 weddings a year—down from the 70 or more I used to take on. I limit the number of weddings I accept because of the effort and care I invest in every celebration. This allows me to stay fresh, creative, and inspired for every couple I work with.
Documentary photography with an editorial flair
Choosing the right photographer matters, and I want to be clear about the style I bring to your day. My approach blends documentary-style photography—capturing candid, real moments—with a touch of editorial flair for the posed shots when the time is right.
I focus on the raw emotions—hugs, smiles, tears—everything that makes your day uniquely yours. Most of the time, I’ll be quietly observing and letting you be yourselves. For the few moments I step in to guide you through some beautiful portraits, there’s no pressure—there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to do them.
Whether you’re popping champagne or taking a quiet stroll to soak it all in, I’ll be there to capture those intimate, in-between moments that tell the full story of your day.
At the heart of everything I do is the desire to stir emotion and transport you—and your loved ones—back to how it felt on your wedding day. This isn’t just a job to me—I pour my heart into the way I document each moment.

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date. Once we’ve discussed the package you’d like to book, I’ll send over the booking details along with my wedding agreement. Once the agreement is signed and the booking fee is paid, your date is officially reserved—I'm all yours!

I’m based in the Hunter Valley, where I work most weekends, and I live on the Central Coast. I don’t charge travel fees for weddings in the Hunter Valley or Sydney.
For weddings more than two hours away, a travel fee will apply. -
Absolutely! I always meet with my couples—it’s very rare for me to book a wedding without connecting first. My whole business is built around creating a great experience, and that starts with getting to know each other. We can meet in person, or we can kick things off with a video call—whatever works best for you.

On average, I deliver around 80–100 images per hour of coverage. The final number can vary depending on the flow of the day and what’s happening. I carefully curate the images to tell the story of your day and include as many joyful, meaningful moments—and happy faces—as possible.
-
I don’t deliver RAW or unedited files. Every image you receive is carefully edited by me, one at a time, to ensure consistency and quality across your entire gallery.

I photograph in a photojournalistic style, focusing on capturing the day as it naturally unfolds—real moments, genuine emotions, and unscripted beauty. Unlike traditional or editorial photography that relies heavily on posed shots, my approach is more about documenting the authentic story of your day as it happens.

Yes, I do! With a background in graphic design, I have a true passion for design and print. Wedding albums are such a beautiful heirloom, preserving your day to be passed down through generations. You can see more here

I’m happy to do whatever you need on the day. Whether you’d like guidance and direction to feel comfortable, or prefer a more documentary approach with everything captured candidly, I’m fully comfortable with both styles of photography.
-
I don’t alter the way you look other than skin blemishes that are temporary (bruise, pimple, etc.)
-
In the unlikely event that I am unable to photograph your wedding (due to illness or other extreme circumstances), I would make every effort to arrange a replacement photographer—or photographers—who can capture your day in a similar style. While I’m not legally bound to do so, I will do everything in my power to ensure you have a suitable replacement.

I’m all about embracing whatever weather comes our way. There are always options to photograph indoors, use umbrellas, or find shelter from the wind. The best approach is to accept the weather and get creative in the moment to make the most of it.

I provide a preview gallery usually within 3 days of your wedding. The final gallery is typically delivered around 4 weeks later. During busier periods, it may take up to 6 weeks, though this is rare.
